		<description>The 3:1 recipe was my starting point for both Martinis and Manhattans.  Now I&#039;m more of a 2:1 for Manhattans and a 1:1 for Martinis.  I guess I quickly learned to love vermouth.

I&#039;m definitely a big fan of orange bitters and a lemon twist over a salty food garnish.  

I&#039;m currently reading Lowell Edmund&#039;s &quot;Martini: Straight Up&quot; which I&#039;m quite enjoying.  You can find it used on Amazon or Half.com for about $4 shipped.</description>
